Mettlevouch: rule‑based trading software for Australia, where you set the limits
Mettlevouch rule-based trading software turns your own written rules into orders, and caps what any one trade can cost you. It is built for traders in Australia, with an executing broker licensed by ASIC. You set the rules. The broker holds the money.
Registering costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Trading forex, CFDs and crypto can lose you everything you put in, and this page will keep saying so.

What Mettlevouch rule-based trading software is, and is not
A name is only a name, so here is the plain version. It is software that follows rules you write. It is not a broker, a bank, an adviser or a fund. It does not manage your money and it does not pick trades for you.
It does one job: when the conditions in your rules appear, it sends an order to your broker account, sized so that a loss at your stop stays inside the limit you chose. It cannot make a bad rule good, and it cannot see the future. Rule-based trading is a way of being consistent, not a way of being right.
How it works: rules in, orders out
You write the rules and the risk limit once. The software then watches for them and routes each order to your broker. A live-feeling picture of order-book depth shows the idea: buyers on the left, sellers on the right, and your stop line where you decided the trade is wrong.
One control halts all new orders at once. Existing positions stay with the broker, where you can manage them yourself.
Illustrative, not live data, not a prediction.

What it costs, plainly

| Item | Cost | Who sets it |
|---|---|---|
| Mettlevouch software | £0 | Mettlevouch |
| Spreads | Built into every price | The broker |
| Broker fees | Commission, overnight financing, withdrawal fees: varies, so check | The broker |
| Minimum deposit | from $250 AUD (or £250 GBP / €250 EUR / $250 CAD / $250 NZD / $250 SGD). Your own money, at risk | The broker |
Withdrawals, step by step
Your money sits with the broker, so a withdrawal is a request to the broker, not to us.
- Ask for the withdrawal in your broker account.
- The broker checks your identity, if it has not already.
- The broker sends the money to a bank account in your name.
- Keep the confirmation. If something is slow, tell us and the broker.
Brokers may charge fees and set timings. Read their withdrawal terms before you deposit.
How you can lose money
Most people who trade leveraged products lose money. You can too. Prices can jump past your stop. Leverage turns small moves into large losses. Spreads and fees wear a little off every trade. Rules that worked last year can fail this year, and the software will carry on following them.
The chart shows why large losses are so hard to undo. Lose half of your account and you need to double what is left just to break even. The calculator shows how a small risk limit keeps any one loss small.
A 30% loss needs a 42.9% gain on what is left to get back to where you started.
See the numbers as a table
| Loss | Gain needed |
|---|---|
| 10% | 11.11% |
| 20% | 25% |
| 30% | 42.86% |
| 40% | 66.67% |
| 50% | 100% |
| 60% | 150% |
| 70% | 233.33% |
| 80% | 400% |
| 90% | 900% |
If price reaches your stop you lose about 50 (1% of the balance), before any spread, fees or slippage. This position is worth no more than your balance.

Questions people ask
Sixteen plain answers. Search them, or pick a topic.
What is Mettlevouch?
Mettlevouch is rule-based trading software. You write down your trading rules and a risk limit, and the software places orders for you at an executing broker. It is not a broker, it does not hold money and it does not tell you what to trade.
How does it work?
You choose the rules and the most you will risk on one trade. The software watches the market for those conditions and sends orders to your broker account when they appear. It also has a single control that halts new orders. It does not predict prices, and rules that worked before can stop working.
Who holds my money?
An executing broker licensed for your country holds it, under that broker's terms. We never receive, hold or move client money.
What does it cost?
Signing up is free and nothing is charged at sign-up. When trading is possible you will pay the costs your broker sets, mainly spreads and, with some brokers, commission and financing charges. We publish what we know and say so where a figure is not published.
What is the minimum deposit?
The broker sets it, and we expect it to be from $250 AUD (or £250 GBP / €250 EUR / $250 CAD / $250 NZD / $250 SGD). No deposit is taken by registering. It is your own money and it is at risk.
How do withdrawals work?
You ask your broker, not us. The broker checks your identity, sends the money back to a bank account in your name and may charge a fee. Read the broker's withdrawal terms before you deposit anything.
Can I lose more than I deposit?
It depends on the broker and your country. Some brokers protect retail clients from owing more than they deposited and some do not. Ask the broker in writing before you deposit, and never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
How can I lose money?
Prices can move against you faster than a stop order can fill. Leverage magnifies losses. Spreads and fees take a little from every trade. Rules can fail when the market changes, and the software will keep following them. Any one of these can cost you the whole deposit.
Is my data secure?
The site uses TLS 1.3, and the details you give are sent only to our customer-management system. We store hashed IP addresses in our consent records and do not use advertising cookies. No system can be made impossible to breach, so we ask for only what we need.
What about tax?
We are not tax advisers. Gains and losses from trading may be taxable or deductible, depending on your country and your circumstances. Keep records of every trade and ask a qualified adviser.
How are you paid?
We are a software vendor and marketing affiliate. Once partner brokers are listed, we receive rebates and referral fees from them. That is a conflict of interest and we say so on every page. You never pay us to join.
Is Mettlevouch a scam, or is it legitimate?
We cannot ask you to take our word for it. The company behind the site is registered in England and Wales, number 14209581, and you can check it on Companies House. That shows the company exists. It does not mean a regulator has approved anything. Our review page sets out what we do, what we do not and where the limits are.
Do I need experience?
You do not need experience to sign up. You do need to understand the risks before you trade. Read the risk disclosure, start with an amount you can lose, and be wary of anyone who says trading is easy.
How do I log in, and how do I spot fake sites?
Use the Log in link on this site, which leads to the registration form. Our only official domains are mettlevouch.co.uk and www.mettlevouch.co.uk. Anything else, on any extension, is not us. We will never ask for a password by email or message.
Is it available in my country?
Availability depends on where you are. Access is restricted in some countries. Where trading is offered it is only through an executing broker licensed for your country, and if we cannot offer you the service you will not be able to reach the site or join the list.
How do I complain?
Email [email protected]. We acknowledge every complaint within 2 working days and tell you what happens next. If you are still unhappy, the contact page explains where else you may be able to go.
